Wed March 21

I spoke with my sister early this morning. Mom's breathing is very shallow and weak. It seems her spirit is ready to move on but her body is struggling with this time. As you most of you know, mom spent a good part of her life serving others and is even concerned about her family when she is facing this time. Please pray for her peace. It seems only a matter of time before God claims his own and we loose an incredible women.

Blessings to all who pray and sing for her.

Hello family;

Just a quick note to let you know I carry you in my heart, and I sing for you to lift prayers to the heavens, that the Creator take his healing hands and rest them on mom (our canoe mom), to let her feel peace. It is the first day of Spring and I feel the solstice of change, the birth of renewal and wonder of creation, of all the seeds your mother has sown and the fruit of her labours that has stemmed. I love you dearly Baaduubialth, please fare well and know that there are so many of us who love you and sing and pray for you. Family please call at any time, (604) 789 - 5353 or Shucks at (778) 840 - 5353, love to you all! XOXOXOXOXOX Love Brat ~ Mnzinuxv Kayewiliya

Gramma, I miss you very much. I want you to know that I am doing very well in school here at Eastern Michigan University. I am getting all A''s and a B!

We are all thinking of and praying for you.

I hope that you know how much of an inspiration you have been to all of us, but especially to me. Because of your guidance I was able to become a canoe captain and pass on the wisdom I received from you.

I will never forget the day that the Suquamish canoe family met you, back in 1993 on the way to Bella Bella. When we tried to pull in to Port Townsend beach without introducing ourselves, and you were there on the beach and you pushed us back out and said "Who are you?"

I learned then and there that we must always ask permission to come ashore, even if we can't see anyone with our eyes, there are those willing to give permission.

I love you very much.
