Memories and what we learn

I think I will now only begin to realize the vast number of people mom touched. I would like to start a section just to express the memories and teachings. If you would share your memories and teachings we would be greatful. I know some of us could write books on lessons learned and memories shared please feel free to post again and again as things come to mind.

We are blessed because we all knew her, now we will be blessed more to know each other because of her.

Time Has come........

God has taken his precious child home............where she will run and not be tired. Mom went to be with her Lord and Saviour this evening and although it is a blessing for the heavens, it leaves us here on earth with a sadness beyond explanation. Only emptiness is felt so strong when someone leaves that was so good.

The family will contact and post information on the services for mom.

Wednesday afternoon

Mom has been removed from all the tubes.........no oxygeyn mask. She is on a morphine drip to help her with pain. She has moments of unrest, but the morphine drip will help her not get anxious.

We can't thank you enough for all your thoughts and prayers. Please continue to pray for peace and strength.

Wed March 21

I spoke with my sister early this morning. Mom's breathing is very shallow and weak. It seems her spirit is ready to move on but her body is struggling with this time. As you most of you know, mom spent a good part of her life serving others and is even concerned about her family when she is facing this time. Please pray for her peace. It seems only a matter of time before God claims his own and we loose an incredible women.

Blessings to all who pray and sing for her.

Tues evening

They have moved mom to another room. It's out of ICU and is private, I don't know if I can say it's more homelike.......but it's not ICU. As you know mom is unable to eat but has a feeding tube. She is in God's hands I know. Please light a candle and pray or sing. I've talked with my brothers and sisters and are greatful for all who have sent wishes. Having so many visitors is difficult because mom is anxious with a lot of activity. The doctors have given her medication for the anxiety and are trying to manage her pain. she has a view from her window now.......albeit it's only the parking lot. I will update again if anything changes.

Tues March 19

Pray for strength. Mom had a hard night. She is dreaming of Grandpa, Uncle Skip and others. She's not able to eat and doesn't seem to moving forward.

Monday update

Terri saw mom last night and I talked with Walter they said she was allowed to have a rootbeer float...forget the rootbeer she just ate the ice cream! She slept pretty good last night.
Mom had a rough morning and was restless. Her oxygen levels dropped and they had to put her (CPAP) oxygen mask back on. Which means she has nutrients through an IV and not able to eat. She will be reevaluated when she see's her doctor today.
When I hear more from anyone I will post as the updates come in.

I do know that she was very tired from all her company. The immediate family that is going to be with mom will print off any messages and read them to mom........

God Bless everyone who prays for mom!

Hi Mom

Hi mom!
This is the first time we are trying this It's to help everyone keep in touch with you most of all and also be supportive with each other!
Mick says this is easy...........hmmmm easy for a kid brain, we'll see how the rest of us do.

We had a good trip home, there was no snow on the pass but still some on the trees. It was very pretty.
